Cathy has always been a foodie. Her early years in Northern New Jersey surrounded by Italian, Polish, Irish, and English neighbors ignited her passion for new and exciting cuisine. Throughout high school and college, Cathy worked in restaurants and in the early 80’s, started selling cheese cakes, tea breads and muffins to local restaurants. Studying Art Education at Kutztown State University gave her a great sense of design and color that would eventually be the foundation for her talent for catering & event presentation.
While managing a Deli/Bagel Shop in Florida, Cathy got the urge to break out on her own and in 1985 moved to Atlanta, Georgia. It was there that she started her own catering company called Culinary Expressions which grew to 33 employees with revenues of $2 million, over 2 decades in business.
Cathy has also been heavily involved in her industry at the national level. Since 1996 she has been an active member of Catersource, the leading source of information, education and training for the industry. As a member, Cathy has attended Catersource events interacting with other catering business leaders and leading training classes. With 25 years of kitchen management, menu creation, inventory management, purchasing, sales, event management, hiring, and training behind her, Cathy is ready to bring her experience, innovation and passion for catering to the Boston market.
Director of Creativity and Trends; David found his true calling in the catering business in 1996. After marrying Cathy, David began almost immediately to apply his unique talents to the catering business.
Utilizing his great interpersonal skills and passion for making a customers event something special, David began to drive sales, demonstrating an ability to sell not only the event but also the décor and equipment, providing a full and unique experience for the customer. Drawing on his construction background, and a natural talent for design, David began to create functional and unique catering equipment. David’s display pieces have been sought after by caterers nationwide. He has sold his display pieces to the White House, Disney World and many catering operations across the country. David has also shared his talents with his peers, leading sessions at Catersource events on designing and building unique displays for events. David is a Boston native who loves the city and all that it represents! His hands on operational, managerial and design skills will be invaluable to Wicked’s impact in Boston.
Andy has been in the food service industry for over 12 years. Over that time he has been involved with many facets of the industry; including, operations, preparing food, hands on kitchen management, and expediting.
It is because he has been involved in all of these different aspects that his knowledge and dedication provides the client with the best possible experience.
Andy is completely devoted to his clients and will do everything he can to make each event successful, and memorable. His ability to listen to people, combined with his knowledge of the behind the scenes details of an event, makes him the perfect catering salesperson!
